It shouldn’t take an action as serious as suicide for people to realize how much of an impact hateful remarks can make on an individual. You should always take action even if you don’t think it’s that serious.
Women picketed the White House in 1917 to try to get President Wilson to support woman suffrage. This is one of my favorite photos of the picketers.
